Fourth of July

I hope everyone had a safe and happy Fourth of July surrounded by loved ones, a fire, tons and tons of s’mores, and of course fireworks.
Our Fourth of July didn’t go exactly as planned, but it was exactly what we needed.
We’ve been going 100 miles per minute and a day lounging at our parents house was perfection.

Our day started off at the Pietri’s for a delicious and colorful bruch. You can find the recipe of this plate here.
Angelo’s mom drying lavender for lavender lemonade & lavender cocktails. OH YEAH!
I helped Mrs. Pietri start up a Facebook page for her food blog.

Then we headed over to my parents house. I just, I lovvve this boys to death. I can watch them play together all day, it is the sweetest thing to witness.
And of course it wouldn’t be Fourth of July if Sparklers weren’t involved.
